Fall at the FH

It's my favorite time of year out at the farmhouse! We think we are about a week from peak, but still it is just incredible out there!

 We saw some wild turkey's from the house so Cory and L went down to check it out

Demo Phase Two

We are having the House Doctor start phase two of the farmhouse renovation. We are thrilled to get this part of the project going. We will be adding a bathroom upstairs in the corner you see in the first picture, and are also updating the bath on the main level. There is a lot of work ahead of them, and we were a tad overwhelmed to see the upstairs bedroom (formally known as the grey room)!

The House Doctor tells us the whitewash is a pretty old addition to the room and is definitely old-time stuff. They have scraped quite a bit of this off since these pics.

Cory and Clay worked on putting up a table on the front porch. We found this piece of wood in the basement and stained it and boom new table! (chairs to come)

Winter at the FH

It's been awhile since I posted an update. With a little guy, and the cold and snow we've had this season it has prevented us from getting out there as much. Here are some pictures that capture some of what we do while we are out there during the winter months.
